Tiger Studios Newsletter: July/August 2008 IssueToday's topic may not be needed by all of you, but it might be worth it to read and store away for the future. You never know when the opportunity will come up for traditional print advertising.
Enjoy! Making the Most of Your Print AdsPrint advertising in magazines or newspapers is a good way to expand your company brand. You want to make sure that you take full advantage of the opportunity to reach potential clients through the ad. What the Designer Needs to KnowMake sure you let the designer know a few key things: size of the ad, whether the ad is in full color or black and white, and what the finished file type will be for the printer. This is usually PDF but the printer will give you the specifics. What You Need to DoKeep in mind that you don't want a lot of text to clutter up the ad. You want the design to be appealing and eye catching as you will be competing with other ads or articles on the same page. Make sure the ad has a clear message about what you or your company do. What You Don't Want to ForgetDefinitely don't forget to add your company logo and name plus contact information. Most importantly, don't forget to add your company web site address. You might want to think about setting up a special web page to send the ad viewers to so you can track conversions. You will get a better idea of the amount of revenue you received from clients seeing your ad.
